Traditional seafood distribution moves quantity quickly at the expense of quality. Golden Bay Abalone is different: we work with dayboat fishermen to source premium quality seafood, pack or freeze it in peak condition within hours of harvest, then make it available to members to pick up at our community partner locations. Becoming a member gets you access to this unique distribution system that combines the ease of online ordering with the value and values of a community supported fishery (CSF).
Getting your membership dollars in advance lets us forecast needs, and purchase and freeze seafood at the best times and prices while making sure our inventory is just where we need it to ensure top quality products.
